After reading your post and reading reviews claiming it’s “better than Weller(Antique)” I decided to grab a bottle and give it a go. First impression is it’s pretty good, but no Antique. Maybe that will change once it breaths a bit and on a fresh pallet tomorrow, but I definitely like it more than the regular 90. Might be worth having a couple bottles on hand.

Nice, glad you grabbed one but yeah, I definitely would not have said it was better than the Antique. Good but not that good. And again, not overly priced and the fact it's limited edition (and unsure if it'll be available again here in the States?), I'll go ahead and get another.

Last night's late night pickup. Got a text from a friend that the store he was at had 1 more of the Sweet Wheats which I'd been wanting to try. I'd had 1792 Small Batch and Bottled in Bond and I wasn't impressed with either but this Sweet Wheat was very good. Hard to find but if I see it again, I'd grab another bottle. Smooth but with a somewhat creamy taste to it. Also picked up another McKenna 10. Bought and tried it for the first time months ago and wasn't overly impressed. Went back to it recently after "letting it breath," and enjoyed it more a second time around so went ahead and picked this up as well while getting the SW.

That’s what I’m thinking.

As usual, great finds. You’re on a tear lately. Save some for the rest of us man! Lol

 I had a great, but expensive week. Trust me, this is the exception and definitely not the norm. Gotta buy 'em when they're available.

I know this is a popular bottle so I grabbed it today. Tried it, loved it, went back to the store and picked another one up. If you see one in the wild, it's definitely worth the $40 MSRP.

Finally able to pick up some of the bottles I’ve been chasing.

Nice grab on the Stagg Jr. I've yet to try it as it continues to elude me. Slow week for me. Just grabbed another Weller 107 today. Other than that, nothing.

I’d be stoked with another 107. So good. I picked these up today.

I’m considering going back and dropping the coin to get a second bottle of the Stagg Jr while I still can. God knows if I’ll ever come across it again. Then I’ve got to stop. Pappy comes out next month. Doubt I’ll get any, but here’s to hoping!

Yeah I heard Pappy's was going to get a release this fall. Nice scores! Did you get a second bottle of Stagg Jr? Curious as to your thoughts on the Heaven Hill Bib. I absolutely loved it and went back to the store and grabbed another bottle. Never had Old Scout but I know it's popular.

I’m opening the Heaven Hill tonight. I’ll post after. So far, the Old Scout straight bourbon has been my favorite. It’s excellent! If you see it, grab it. You won’t be disappointed. Still have to crack the rye too.

Heaven Hill is very good. Exceptionally smooth up front, bit of spice on the back. Rich and sweet. Good stuff!

Nice grabs! Still haven't tried Stagg Jr. I take it you enjoyed it? Both Heaven Hill Bib And EHT SB I fell in love with after that initial sip.
