I've got the Very Fine Rare Bourbon MC from Woodford. It's amazing. Possibly top 5 bourbon for me
Good to know, thanks. This is what they had...

I just put together my new fire pit, so there will be a celebratory drink and toast to my cousin who just passed away.
We just redid our patio with a chiminea too. Sorry to hear man. Drop a post and we’ll drink to him too!

Nice gets. The place I picked up my Elmer had a whole bunch of Masters Collection. No price tags though and I was in a hurry so I didn’t ask. Let me know what you think.
Will do. Should crack it tomorrow.

I missed out on the VFRB but hoping this one's good as well. I've only ever tried regular Woodford so I've been curious to try this and the Double Oak.

Long day today, but got everything done. Treating myself to a fresh crack. For 123.7 proof, it drinks pretty smooth. Little bit of heat on it, but no spice. My first Woodinville I've ever tried and surprised it's from Washington state.

Can’t remember if you’re into rye, but Woodinville rye is one of my absolute favorite ryes if you come across it.

Rye's are hit and miss for me. Too much spice and I pass. More subtle and that's more up my alley. Wheat's are my weakness though.

Well, the regular Woodinville rye is only like $35 near me at Total Wine & More. Worth giving it a try if you get a chance. It’s more mellow than my other favorite rye, Pikesville.

I appreciate the heads up. I'll have to add it to the list.

Just cracked the Woodford Reserve BP and it's delicious. 128.3 proof but drinks very easy neat for it's proof. On the lookout out for a backup bottle now. I endorse picking one up if you see it.

Never tried it, but I’ve seen legit whiskey reviewers sip and enjoy Mellow Corn.

It's from Heaven Hill and they haven't done me wrong yet. Plus at around $15 per bottle, it's a no-brainer.

Finally tried an Old Fitzgerald today (not BiB unfortunately) but this is delicious, even coming in at 80 proof! Anyone ever had there BiB's and how are they?

The mellow corn (MFC, if you will) is solid for the price, proof and pure 'single grain' nature of it. really helped me start to see the distinct contributions of each grain in a specific bourbon mashbill. don't have it every time, it's not that good, but it sure is educational and tasty enough.

Has anyone here tried the Heaven's Door Bootleg series? My shop has them for less than MSRP if I want them. But they are still super spendy. The packaging is amazing was just curious if the booze itself is any good

It's just old Dickel. Not worth it.
