Nope, not yet. But I think some people actually prefer the 12 just based on the value proposition at almost half the price. I’ll get to the 15 eventually though.
Have ya paid your dues, Jack? Yessir, the check is in the mail.

Bryman, you had the ECTB before? I grabbed 2 bottles last year and it's not bad. I'm not hugely into Elijah Craig and the TB is probably my favorite that I've tasted so far.
Nope, first time with the Toasted Barrel. I thought it was ok. Didn’t care for the nose, but it had a pretty rich flavor. I only had one glass though so I’ll need to revisit it a few times before I have solid opinion.

Dug into this one a little. First 100 year cask finish. $1000 a bottle. Either you got connections or money burning a hole in your pocket. Either way, congrats man. It sounds amazing! Tell us what you think when you crack the 100ml.

Just had another glass of the Toasted Barrel and then fallowed it with the Barrel Proof B520. DEFINITELY like the Barrel Proof more. It’s actually pretty significantly out in front when comparing the two(to my pallet anyway). Cheers fellas!Irishman12 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 7:02 pmBryman, you had the ECTB before? Not a BP fan of EC at all (too much heat/spice for me), but to each his own. I'd say their TB is my favorite followed by their SiB, but again, I'm not a huge fan of EC so I kind of gotta be in the mood for it.
Congrats wottagunn, $1K for that bottle!? As Bryman said, let us know your thoughts once you crack it.
I got an e-mail the other day about Total Wine's Spring raffle. Not as many goodies this time around (zero Pappy) but a few Wellers are in the bunch (CYPB, Single Barrel, Full Proof) along with a 14 year BiB Old Fitzgerald, Blanton's Gold, Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. Points count until April 7 and then winners will be drawn a few weeks later. I was able to get a 2019 George T. Stagg in the Winter raffle so here's hoping to more luck this time around!

Thanks fellas. It's a little bit of a story but for the most part it was a gift. I've had a wide range of whisky in my time (visited Scotland a few years back for a good sampling) but really nothing on this level.
Waiting for the right time to open it (the 100ml)... Not sure if I'll ever open the 700ml. Guess it depends on taste haha
