DON'T WORRY GUYS, I figured it out for myself. It's great! Especially after an Avs OT win!

Looking to move indulge my bourbon hobby/collection. Is any one is interested in trading your interesting bourbon for my various Fairey prints? Cheers.

Been a whiskey kick to begin 2020. My inventory so far. Any brands or bottles that anyone can recommend is appreciated. Already have quite a list going right now.

I really like Buffalo Trace. Never been able to try the Eagle yet. What's your fave of what you have pictured?

Blanton's for me. Eagle Rare is good but hard to find by me too. Personally, between that and Buffalo Trace, I prefer Buffalo. That Maker's Mark and Whistle Pig are really good as well!

If you can find Elmer T. Lee for $40 or less, grab it. Even $50.
It's one of those "profiteering bottles" though, so it may not be easy.
Only a few years ago it was readily available for $30.

My #1 recommendation is Stagg Jr. - just not the first two releases.

Thanks for the recommendation. Haven't seen Elmer T. Lee (I'll have to keep an eye out for it). Never had Stagg or Stagg Jr. but I hear they're both good. Just hard to come by.

Out of curiosity where did you find the Blanton's and how much was a bottle? It is almost impossible to find it in North AL and central TN. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the BT brands. They seem to have it all figured out.

For another good option that is easily available, Four Roses Small Batch is not bad at all.

Four Roses is on my list already, thanks. As for the Blanton’s, I got lucky. I was in last week when the store opened (which is the only way to do it) and one of the reps that I know, I just asked since I didn’t see it out (they only put them on the front counter, never the shelf because they don’t last long) and she went into the back and grabbed me a bottle. Trust me, I’ve struck out more times than not. Like I said, just got lucky. From what I’ve heard from others, make friends at the store or with the manager. If they see you in there enough, they might swing you a bottle. But honestly, I’m my experience, it’s either knowing someone, or luck.

What 2 weeks of quarantine looks like. Was finally able to try a Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. (Small Batch) and it was amazing! Hard to find but definitely in my top 3 now. Wolcott was good as well.

Made a couple of Makers Mark Manhattans last night -dry vermouth with a lemon peel. The last 3-4 sips are the best.

If EHT Small Batch was hard to find, were Blanton's and the Weller Antique easy? Antique is my favorite daily drinker.
