Awesome! Looking fwd to trying it.
Good week here.
Ended up falling into a Booker 30th, picked up a PHC 6 & 9, 4 SAOS 13 yr SiB bourbons, and split a PHC 8 & Four Roses 130th w/a few friends.
Collect them all. Before you Die®

I want to find a 30th anniversary and open it with the 25th anniversary hidden away.
Also thinking about selling my collection and not chasing bourbon anymore. Such a love hate with the “Hobby”

Well I am not much of a whiskey man but my friend had a prom night like month ago and me and my other friend wanted to start ourselves before the ball with Jack Daniels and ginger River Tonic. I didnt want to do that at start because I didnt want to mix whiskey with something but it was damn good! We had a great time before and during the prom night!

I snagged some Michter’s Rye and Old Fitz. There were a bunch of others as well, missed out on the Michters Toasted, though.

Just the normal Michter's Rye? Or 10 year? If it's just the normal release, I can get that for you whenever.

Normal stuff, and yeah I don't think it's super tough to grab here in PA but it's been a while since I had it. The M10 was up but I wasn't interested at $130+tax/shipping. I don't think it's that good.

Stopped in a local just to browse and was surprised they were kind of well stocked. Nothing too rare but a decent selection. Had the New Riff BIB, clerk said its pretty good and the single barrel is outstanding but they can't keep it in stock. Was going to grab a bottle of Proper Twelve since they had 4+ cases of it out until 2 separate people told me it is a complete waste of money. Even the clerk said she hadn't heard a single person say they like it. Explains the 4 cases I suppose.
stay thirsty my friends

Yeah I've really stopped chasing bourbon. Its too frustrating. I will buy my 80's and 90's WT, along with the random BTAC / old fitz bottling on FB and just pay the premium. The only stuff I really "hunt" for these days is scotch or rum and thats mostly through overseas online stores (although we are heading to Paris in a couple weeks so I plan on doing some major hunting there).

I got a few extras over the last two years, that I'll be letting go to the secondary. I'd prefer to trade for Phlegm and Moss, so if anyone is interested, let me know.

I bought a bottle of Tin Cup recently and really enjoyed it. Smooth. Yesterday picked up some Bulleit Bourbon. I know it's incredibly rare to find but anybody have any luck tracking down Blanton's?
