Yep. Gotta let it live a bit and get a little deeper into the bottle. Is what it is.

Found this at Total Wine today. Been on my list for years, but I’ve never seen it for less than $200. Stoked.

Not bad at all, congrats! I missed a Spec's store pick of Colonel Taylor Single Barrel a few weeks back but rumor is there's a Weller Full Proof store pick dropping soon and I've got my fingers crossed it comes tomorrow and that I can get me one 🤞

no not yet. to be quite honest, the secondary price on it is fuggin crazy. I doubt I'll sell it, but it's giving me pause.

I know. Some bottles I've never tried that I've wanted to are just too crazy that I won't spend that on booze. I've been tempted to put a bottle or 2 of mine up as well but I'm more curious to try it than to flip it. That's my motto, drink it, don't flip it.

I might be down for a trade for a WFP pick if you're able to get one you'd be willing to part with. Looks like regular WFPs are trading around 235ish and store picks are up around 280.

I've had such fudge luck this year getting anything allocated, that I'm willing to cash in on past successes.

Unfortunately it wasn't Weller FP Spec's pick but I'll take this as a nice consolation!

Let me know how this is. I've got a honey hole that has about 5 of these on the shelf for $130, and I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I think it’s definitely worth picking up a bottle to try for yourself if you can get it at $130. Personally, I think I prefer the Hibiki Japanese Harmony and the Nikka Pure Malt for around $75, but I did enjoy the Yamazaki.
