North Jersey thin crust for lunch
Speaking of Jersey, any recommendations in/around Flemington, NJ?
Delorenzo’s Tomato Pies in Robbinsville (near Trenton) is consistently rated as the best pizza in NJ. It’s definitely worth the ride from Flemington.

God I wish there was good pizza near me. The only good pizza I ever have at home nowadays is sent in dry ice from Chicago....Lou Malnatis. I can only think of one place near me taht has a pie I would rate above a 5. The cheese, sauce and toppings are good but the crust blows. Part of me wonders how many people outside of a few key cities have had good pizza. I've had friends make suggestions but they are all average at best. I then try to figure out where they've lived in their lives. The answer usually explains their suggestion. If all you've eaten in your life is dogshit, what is the difference between a Lab and German Shepard.
I'm fortunate to have many great pizza joints near me, but wanted to look up Lou Malnatis as I've never had an authentic deep dish. But, holy crap $67 for two 9" pizzas shipped is crazy expensive  If you do the $117 six 9" one topping pizzas shipped option, it comes out to $19.50 each. Seems reasonable I guess, but from a pizza chain standpoint, that's a size small. It looks damn good though!

I do the 6 for$120. Unless you can eat a lot, one pizza can feed 2. Once cooked it is damn near spot on what you would get at the restaurant. The one deep dish pizza I've not had in Chicago is Pequods which is supposed to be the best in Chicago.

Hey! Hadn't been in here for awhile. Funny coincidence... I logged in to post in here about Untitled Pizza Movie and saw your post. UPM is a 7-part documentary series now playing in The Metrograph's screening room (through 3/14) and one of its main subjects is Bellucci!

I wrote about it for Nerdlocker:

In Houston pizza news, Barry's, my favorite spot in H-town, closed down last year. Major bummer. My favorite Neapolitan style place, Dolce Vita closed the same week.

Bizarre... Barry's just reopened as a different place, Parma. It used to have a family type of atmosphere. It now has a nightclub vibe, they serve "Exotic Pizza" (?) and Mystikal performed there last week. Big Daddy Kane's there this weekend. Their instagram:

Weird that a pizza place closed down. Every pizza place here has been more swamped than usual over the past year as long as they do take out or delivery.
