USPS woes :(

They will come for it soon enough.

I dropped a $350 print off at the post off on the 13th. The line was crazy long and I had 100% had to get back to work so I was forced to drop off at the prepaid drop off desk and not get a receipt, otherwise ship it late.

The package has still not been scanned that its in the USPS's possession.

I feel like an idiot, I always get a receipt but couldn't this time.

I have a picture of the tube sitting on the dropoff counter, not sure what good that would do me.

I should have known better. I reeeallly, really, should have known better considering I have been utilizing this very incompetence to my financial advantage.

DAMN. I'm about even now with the USPS.

I've had this happen to me several times. The package always turns up, sometimes doesn't get scanned for a couple weeks or sometimes the first scan comes in the destination city. Good luck.

Tomorrow will be a full month.

eBay buyer has been remarkably cool about this but I told him that if it doesn't get scanned by Friday he'll get his refund.

I feel like I have basically no chance with a claim if the package never scanned.

Dat has definitely happened before. Not referring to a person lying about it per se, but a package getting delivered without ever being scanned.

I had that happen once. Buyer confirmed receipt without it ever being scanned. $1200 print, too.
