I think the admins need to give some sort of explanation. It seems as if they just stole our money.

There is a lot of value stored in this web site - value that is presently being held hostage for undisclosed reasons. Users have paid a lot of money over the years to keep this site running, and in return, they have not received anything close to proper treatment. Frankly, I would not be surprised to find EB management engaged in a lawsuit in 2019. Unlikely, yes, but certainly not impossible.

The powers that be need to extract their heads from their asses and fix the situation - pronto. The status quo is an pathetic disgrace.

meh... I donated like 30 bucks five or six years ago. I’ve gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the site since I joined back in ‘09... even if it is a slow broken POS now.

At this point, call up the local high school and offer a job to a computer nerd

Tried messaging Yamar (OP) with an offer to help if some is needed - but it says that user doesn't exist anymore. I have some experience doing major database migrations/site builds. If admins are still looking for help to recover this site, please let me know if I can help.

And... browsing through some of the replies in this thread, seems that lots of others have offered to help (not surprisingly, I'm sure we could field an A-level development team here).
