Looks like Banksy is trying to kill off one of his characters...

As a reminder go watch the beginning of Exit through the gift shop where he talked about buying crap cheap clothes. He then put on a huge price tag and calling it "designer" and it would sell like crazy... seems we are waaaay past that point now, but this screams it

This fits in perfectly with what this guy is all about. The reaction to the art is more important than the subject matter... it's an absolute POS, but people will still lap it up like it's Picasso. That's the statement he's trying to get through - people will buy anything if it's considered "trendy", "hip", etc...
Horrible print, but great execution when he pulls a sell-out on this garbage print

I like it. Would look cool above my computer in my home office. It doesnt take up that much wall space. Much smaller than his other stuff

What, no people to defend this? I am surprised. I could see some new hack artist putting something like this out but damn. This is just an insult to all his fans. He has reached a new low. With so much going for you why would you even attempt to put anything like this out. I just do not understand.
I absolutely agree. So does that make this piece valuable? Is this the "ultimate POS" that people still bought? When people look back on this social experiment or statement that Banksy is orchestrating is this the pinnacle? Funny as hell, if you ask me, but I have never and will never buy a MBW.kushmeja wrote:This fits in perfectly with what this guy is all about.
