It looks like the old lady from Borja, Spain who recently "restored" the Christ painting found a horrendously offensive painting comparing the current American president to rise of the National Socialist party within Germany in the 1930s, very possibly a painting that at one time held a visible likeness to the current President, and "restored" it.
but this is probably cool with most of you

No, playing the Nazi/Hitler card is lazy.

Man, I think that fudge's pretty lame too. Going straight from disagreeing with an administration's policies to them automatically being Nazis is so drymounting lazy and uninspiring to me. I find it more tiresome than provocative.

Just curious, do you actually like the Obama Nazi piece or are you simply playing devils advocate on the political angle? I had a strong initial reaction against the visual but would be interested in hearing a differing opinion if you have one.

And generally offensive. I can't think of many people I would honestly compare to Hitler.
Edit: While I don't personally find either offensive, I can see how someone could. I also think they're both terrible. Not because I'm a Bush/Obama supporter mind you, but rather because they are both lazy political hyperbole to the extreme and neither one shows me a shred of artistic originality.

I think it's bad policy to hold Adolf or anybody sacrosanct when it comes to murderers- none is any better than another.
Otherwise, if my innocent family was wiped out by a drone or helicopter attack you'd have a very hard time making any distinction whatsoever between the Commander in Chief and Hitler to me.

ps this poster is fudge.

mostly devil's advocate. don't recall many objections around here to bush being portrayed that way, or portrayed as being assassinated in a movie, etc.

nice to see people condemning both, at the same time, for the same reasons
