The T. Rex comes from an adventure on "Dinosaur Island" (Batman #35, 1946)

FYI the TRex is meant to be an old interpretation of what a Trex looked like to put it in line with the comic version, not a 'modern' one - until recently they didn't know how to put the bones in the correct configuration

This particular beast was modeled after the exhibits you'd see in museums pre-Jurassic Park- like this one from my childhood in Boston:

If it hasn't happened already (and if it has please point me towards it) I'd love to see someone to put together a pictorial record of the evolution of anatomical thinking in paleontology. One of those weird things that interests me and probably not many others.

Anyway, to keep this somewhat on topic, mopey batman here isnt doing much for me, but damn, as said above, JCR really has a way with making a screenprint appear to be a giclee at first glance. Always impressive.
