There are three known printings of this poster. The original is extremely rare. The second printing shows up on ebay fairly frequently and goes for a couple of hundred dollars. There is also a cheap bootleg laser print that shows up on ebay for $20 or so.

Looks like there is an original handbill edition as well. 9x12.

I think this is from Ramrods personal collection.

I moved the orange handbill to a separate listing because it is completely different artwork for the same gig.

Imo it should stay with the orig show listing...

not uncommon for the HB's to be diff than the prints back then.

I just got a "rare 2nd" from an ebayer who's got a stack. 15 7/8 but only 23 31/32 wide. "Printed by Avant~Garde" w/a doodle under "Garde" vertical along right margin outside image near bottom.

Anyone have a definitive comment re:this reprint?

I am the one who found the HB's at Ram Rod's house. It was at a time that I was helping him sell some of his stuff so he could raise the funds to bring his wife home after she had a stroke. I found about 7 of the Handbills and most were of different colors. I kept one and sold the others off in a batch to a private collector from NYC. He in turn moved them and I do not know their history from here. I guarantee their authenticity per Ram Rod. Everything I found at his house was original. It was after this and after he passed away that his son, Rudson, had his sale. I was able to go thru everything before and have multiple pieces in my collection as a result. Probably the best piece he gave me (I left most of the killer stuff to be sold) is a mint original Academy of Music 3/25/72 - it is absolutely flawless. I also got the Anderson Theater handbill, 716/69 Hells Angel Gino benefit, Radio City and Warfield '80, 12/31/78 Blue Rose.

Ram Rod was a wonderful man and the time I spent with him before he passed away was precious. Probably the coolest thing is in his hospital room hanging up was a Los Angeles Lakers Jersey from Luke Walton and two pictures that my daughter made for him. They were some of the last things he saw before he passed away.

I don't know really how many of them there are, but I'd guess a few more than 3. I know 2 were in the window at the show, plus the people that gave me this one in the mid 70's had one. And this one is mine ... much better shape than the one in the photo in this thread.

Plus, I actually went to this concert. Enjoy peeps ...
