This is going to be stunning in person. I placed my order last night. I figured it would be a good one for my first McPherson

18 Colours!
I doubt I will look forward to receiving anything as much as this for the rest of the year
If you hesitated, learn from your mistake

You could have gotten it at the Decoder Ring site yesterday - they went up at about noon CST. But they sold out in the wee hours overnight - 3 left when I tucked in at 1am EST last night, sold out by the time I woke up this morning (and Geoff said he had to refund a couple, I think). At $260 a pop for 80 prints, that's a pretty damn fine sale

A fine print to be sure, but USD$260 was just a bit steep for me at this point.
Well done to the people that grabbed one, I suspect there will be no disappointments when you unroll that outta the tube

$260 is kinda ridonkulous, but they did sell out so I suppose that's a fair price.
Nice rack by the way. Love them pencil erasers!

fair price considering the quality on this whole series. i would say that the price was quite fair considering they sold out in less than a day.usamamasan1 wrote:$260 is kinda ridonkulous, but they did sell out so I suppose that's a fair price.

Definitely agree that the price is quite reasonable. I realize that it's out of a lot of peoples price range, but we are spoiled with the relatively cheap price of high quality gig posters. Watching the process thread brings home how much work is involved in these works of art.kingofprussia wrote:fair price considering the quality on this whole series. i would say that the price was quite fair considering they sold out in less than a day.usamamasan1 wrote:$260 is kinda ridonkulous, but they did sell out so I suppose that's a fair price.

I've been a fan of Tara's since I saw the '04 DCFC print. I can't wait to get this. Piece de resistance. No fudge. IMO, it seems like it will blow all the other DCDC pieces away.
