Washington is a human monarch and when the human monarch falls along with society the natural monarch will still be going strong.

A member on the Keyes forum brought up an interesting thought:

"About the name...Part of the manatee legend remains in the name of their animal order, Sirenia, which comes from the Greek mythical legend of sirens who sang songs to lure ships into rocky shores."

Funny that the talk about this seemed to die as fast as the price hike... Bought mine fresh off the lost drop and just realized patience would have saved me about a 100 bucks... ah, well... Still think it was way worth it 8)

Nice simple frame up murdock and that sketch is enviable.

Looks great! Still need to pick mine up from the framers.

To me, the lack of talk about this one demonstrates the polarity of tastes to art....or maybe how hype plays such a role in this collecting game. Who knows.
This is one of my favorite images from JK. I think its MUCH better than Exodus...as well as some other fan favorites.
Maybe I just take more meaning from the image than others.
Cant wait to have it home on my wall.

^ Totally agree!

My favorite image is still (and maybe will always be?) Sowers, but this sits definitivley and firmly in my TOP5.

This one also resonates with me quite a bit. Like Murdock, I probably spent a bit too much buying it on the secondary market soon after the release, but I do love it.

But what do I know. I also prefer Sowers to Stampede for feel and composition.

edit: Ha. I was responding to shoeless and hadn't even seen your post just below, murdock. Great minds...

Seems like we share more tastes than one... As impressive as Stampede is in person, there's just too much going on in there to enjoy this on my wall... (and it's too big to even lay in my flat file, so this actually was an easy pass ;) )
