this image/lettering was used on the cd when this show was released in the late 80's. I'm not sure if it was ever on vinyl before that.

Gee wilikers Mrs. Cleaver. Not much here for this excellent print. Perhaps in some way passes BG105. Both first and second prints are spectacular. Total psychedelic... Brain food.

Not sure where Rick begins and where Moscoso ends. Nice fusion....

I've got the original postcard of this as well as the BG-105. Awesome companions as I can't afford the BG-105 original poster and the poster of the 140 isn't far behind.

From Victor, in the late '90's - talking about BG-140 and BG-141 - both collaborations with Rick:

" I didn't want to work for Bill Graham, but I had a series of successful collaborations with Rick before, so I said,'Okay, this is for Rick. let's do it...'
He was into trash burners with horns ... I did my line drawing for Iron Butterfly [BG 141]. Rick did his for Hendrix [BG 140]. Rick did the first two lines of lettering on both posters ... and I came in behind and basically echoed him. I penciled in the Yin and Yang symbols, and Rick added to them a bit .... After awhile, our styles began to blend and it became difficult to tell where Rick drew and where I drew."

The styles do seem to blend a bit in both posters although I believe the look and feel is more Rick than Victor .
I think the difference in each artist's lettering is more easily distinguished than the drawings.

Anyway, awesome art.
