Cool and nice frame job. I framed mine like yours w/ a white mat and black frame. Except my wife didn't like it in the living room. I moved it to the basement---where I spend a lot of time anyhow, so no skin off my ass.
wow, a whole 4 pages in and someone finally mentions the person behind the poster. wow, truly sad!deathontenlegs wrote:...Later, the dog whined loudly. A little longer it delayed, howling under the stars that leaped and danced and shone brightly in the cold sky. Then it turned and trotted up the trail in the direction of the camp it knew, where were the other food-providers and fire-providers. Jack London.

Very very nice- I would love to be a framing ho; could you be kind enough to provide the details- size/color of the frame and mattes.
I would love to do the exact same job to mine!

3" wide white mat with black core left over from the PJ Summer 06 tour poster.Grateful69Phish wrote: Very very nice- I would love to be a framing ho; could you be kind enough to provide the details- size/color of the frame and mattes.

1 3/4" wide by 7/8" oak with 1/8" beaded round-over on the inside and I hit the outside with some 220 sand-paper before painting black. I posted some pics in the DIY framing thread.

I thought I saw a double matte with a nice blue color?

Very nice! I have always shied away from linen and suede mattes just because of the texture. The suede blue looks really interesting with that print. A plain blue wouldn't offer the same feeling
I was planning to use one of these: single black matte, double matte with dark blue under white top matte, or single white matte with blue or black core. Now I have another option to consider.

The photo doesnt give the frame a lot of justice, its a fatty, about 2 inches deep. Really adds to the warmth of the suede and gives the print a sense of depth.
Pheally happy with this one- while suede isn't meant for every print, it does enhance some.
