Nice poster idea, well executed, just wish the spirit of the poster wasn't in directly ripping off Phish and MSG's intellectual property. The poster would have sold just fine without riding on the coat tails of phish's name, don't get caught selling these outside of MSG.

I dig it. I'd purchase it. I'd hang it.

It only makes sense if it says Phish. I love it, but then I'm a pinball addict.
An Ellis PM would be sweet.

Very high. My understanding is that the Phish legal team has always been relentless in pursuing this type of 'criminal'.

I Dont really comment hear but thought I should say something in this instance. This is outright theft and its wrong. If you want to make a print for your wall that says Phish on it, fine... But to make prints and profit off of Phish's name without them getting a cut is theft. The print is really good. He should let his art stand on its own merrits and not piggyback on Phishs' success, which Im guessing he had nothing to do with.

I totally get the complaint about the use of Phish's name, but..."MSG's intellectual property"?

Really?

Maybe Ellis should start doing movie posters...Y'know - to make it (read: his work) ok and all.

This is one of the nicest unophishal's I've seen in a while.

Sure, Ellis is no AJ, or Po(omigod)llock - but for a screentprint, this looks pretty nice. The metallic/silver seems to be used in all the right places - and as mentioned, this was obviously a good idea that was executed pretty well.

I agree - it's probably using trademarked material. However, more than likely he DID have a part in Phish's success. Yeah, phish would have been good if no one liked them, but bands are not considered great unless they have fans. There are a crap load of great musicians out there that have very few fans, bands should always remember that.

Yes, without the word PHISH you could have put it right in their face - but now you will just have to be a little more low key. Stick it to 'em!
