How are we even supposed to know that these waffles are from space?

I guess I'm nuts. I also think it's brilliant. "Art" should sometimes make you stop and think and say "what the f#%*?". Invader has achieved with this exactly what he wanted to achieve. It's very Warhol-ian of him actually.

Would be a killer print, but the OG is a tough sell for me.

While I sort-of agree with you on the "Art" should sometimes make you stop and think and say "what the f#%*?".....but, i have to say that this is a fuccking waffle. An infant could tear apart a waffle and do this. But to charge $500? People are stupid to purchase this. Yes, i said it.
Also, how do you know that Invader wanted to achieve this? How do you know he's not at home laughing his fukcing ass off with a pile of cash, saying "people will buy anything"....

IMO this is not art.

Because he stole the $500 from you and didn't let consumer decide if they wanted to make the purchase or not

Somehow this now decreases any happy thoughts I have for Mr. Space Invader. Next thing you know some french gentleman will be be paying others to release art under his name!

I like my waffle and it will happily hang in my kitchen. :)

(actually it might have to stand in my kitchen now that I think about it!)
