I had thought this would be an easy pass for me (especially since i snagged the AJ masthay triptec) but then I saw it in person and fell in love with it. The lettering for the phish is a gold/silver metallic ink and theres also metallics in the lines in the water. We need to get some good detail shots up here.
on a side note we need to get the AJ Masthay chicago triptec up here! its sooooooo sick

Keep your eyes out on dans site for this, there have been two re-releases in the past couple of weeks. Just grabbed one with a holiday 20% off included can't wait for it to come!

I'm always happy when they commission a native Chicagoan to create a print for any Chicago show. But I wasn't too impressed with Grzeca's work this time around. I like the fact that he incorporates Chicago history into most of his prints. The "World's Fair print he did for Toyota park was cool, But this one didn't do it for me. I usually always purchase prints of shows that I've attended but this one I had to pass up. They still had stacks of these prints on the 3rd day, so I think a lot of other people thought paying $50 for this piece wasn't worth it. The barn in the corner is a nice added bonus, but overall there really isn't anything special going on in this print.
Kinda pissed considering the 3 days were some of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Surprised that people are still buying these up for $50 and up.

Common sense, is not that common

The run was split over the 3 days and each day sold out within hours of the doors opening
Up now on Dans site along with a $1,100.00 original Scratchboard drawing he created for the Phish UIC poster.

These are up right now on his site along with some test prints
Just pick up his TWBBlood, reading old comment about how this poster was easy to obtain makes me really honestly Laugh Out Loud, I waited for like 3+ hours and my buddy who was in front of me in line got the last one, i panicked and tossed the merch man a tip to sell me the display version, it was one of my most triumphant moment in Phish poster collection, [it was also low # as well which is cool to me (and, i think, an interesting anecdote)] Anyway, Love his "There Will Be Blood", and this UIC, despite my lack of interest in most of his other works. I feel there is a certain "check it out in person before making a ruling" factor on his stuff. Ill wrap it up because i feel I'm bashing Grzeca as much as praising, which is unintentional. Respect to DG.
