If i could get my grubby hands on a Metropolis I'd be all over this. I'd throw in Wolfman too though.dasher12 wrote:Love it! I wonder if anybody has these Ansin prints all framed up together. I think this, Bride of Frankenstein, Metropolis, or Phantom of the Opera would look very class together in a room.

I agree. The movie posters that I have up are by all different artists like one Taylor, Slater, Stout, Tong... but I sometimes think about changing them out and putting up prints all by the same artists. So far Ansin has been my top choice for doing that but since I have none of these prints it is not going to be cheap. I really like his style though they seem to have a classic movie poster look to me.
Do you guys have a single artist up or just your favorite prints in general no matter who did them ?

And Scott Pilgrim? I know it doesn't fit a macabre theme, but damn it's beautiful.srdzevon wrote:If i could get my grubby hands on a Metropolis I'd be all over this. I like what he did for Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. The imaginary concept is well exploited. Unique feel on that one.

Dr. Parnassus is extremely underrated. It's an amazing print in the flesh.tranito wrote:I like what he did for Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. The imaginary concept is well exploited. Unique feel on that one.

If he redrew that one so it could be screen printed and then had it screen printed it would probably be the coolest film poster of all time.srdzevon wrote:I want Taming Light too. but the litho part kinda puts me off.
