Wow. That is without doubt the most embarrassingly bad poster I've seen in years.
When someone first showed me a picture of it, I honestly thought it was a joke.
I know Duval has some skill, but clearly he didn't use it this time around.

That is exactly why I like it. It has a folk art look to it too, which I like.

This seems to be happening a lot lately.
People with old dormant profiles coming in to leave overtly negative comments on established artists work.

I like this poster for all the reasons everyone else seems to dislike it. I mean, its not gunna make the wall or anything, but its a fun print....trademark Duval.

I dont think its the worst poster "in years", I don't even think its the worst poster of this run

...and at least it references a song.

Great song...and as Kneel said, great folksy feel to this poster.

Yeah, it's cool for people who didn't buy it at the show, but it sucks I paid 50 and had to carry it around all night, when I could have had it shipped to my house for less money.

Lessoned learned. For the most part Nate and a few other artist have sold their prints for $10-$20 less then show.
But then you got to deal with a drop. And hoping it doesn't get damaged in shipping.

My initial thoughts on this one:

* I seriously doubt there will ever be any money to be made flipping this one (not that I care; just my hunch)
* I'd like to see the walls of the home/apartment where this one is hung, just to see what other art would be hung by someone who chooses to hang this one
* I don't get the image; I guess I need a bit of an education on how this relates to the Mansfield area
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.
