I don't know the exact size difference, but I saw a first print in the mid-90s.
It was much larger than the second print.

From sixtiesposters.com on 1st vs 2nd sizing...
---Originals are easy to distinguish, as they are roughly twice the size of the second print poster (which measures approx. 12" x 20"), and they do not have a white border.

The first printing of the Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa poster is approximately 16.5" x 27.75" and does not have the white border which is characteristic of the 2nd. printing.

thanks jimmyhoops, the listing has been updated to reflect that. I also broke out the Pirate Printings into PP-3, PP-4 and PP-5, so whoever had the "BOOTLEG" printing in their collection before should recheck it and see if they have PP-4 or PP-5, since they're all listed as PP-3 right now. For that matter, that PP-3 that sold in september 05 could have been a pp4 or pp5 but we don't know now. . . grain o-salt alert.macc5 wrote:Additional 2nd Vs. Bootleg print info added 2/10/06. Thanks to sixtiesposters.com for the info.
I assume the PP's are about the same size as the RP-2? details would be cool if anyone has a boot.

Bump for the first poster I ever bought when I was like 12 years old.
I'd like to have a RP2 (for the right price that is), this Griffin is especially beautiful, Griffin is/was a master of crafts.
