There are now (2006) four printings of this poster. The third printing was done by Wolfgangs Vault in 2006, it is on smooth opaque cover stock and has a Wolfgang's Vault notation in the lower right hand margin (not our watermark as seen in the image). It was printed in 2006 by the Bill Graham Archives LLC in a 1000 copy run. This reprint measures 13 5/8" x 22 3/8".
The 4th printing is on glossy cover stock and also bears a Wolfgang's Vault notation in the lower right hand margin (not our watermark as seen in the image). It was printed in 2006 by the Bill Graham Archives LLC in a 1000 copy run, and is larger than the other printings, measuring 19 3/4" x 32 1/2".

Thanks for the info, and at least we know how many are in the third and fourth editions! Any idea if they are numbered?

I don't think they're numbered. Mines sitting under a bunch of heavy books (though in a sleeve!) to flatten out otherwise I'd go look. WV has reprinted a bunch of the classics. The other reprint I have is the classic Rick Griffin Hendrix Flying Eyeball (w/ John Mayall). I'm not too thrilled with the printing itself (this is the oversized reprint) - there's some color bleeding over the lines in the text. I suspect this is not the case in the OP. But it's still going to look awesome once it's framed and up on a wall!
One thing I do like about the BG-51 reprint I have, also oversized, is its got the original light grayish blue color that in nearly all the early prints and reprints is completely faded out
WV has reprinted a bunch of the classic posters.

A co-worker has this on his wall at work. Not sure what the edition is because I haven't had a chance to take a really close look at it. Great print!

Why don't the BG prints have an artist tied to them in the header?
