Love it.
Nice to see Marq get a bigger audience with the PJ freaks now on board. Things are only going to get tougher from here on out with his stuff.

That is Spusta's style - many of his characters look stoned. To each his own; not for everyone.yellowcake wrote:sorry, but this is lame![]()

Really like the colors and perspective on this one. Nice work, Marq!!
Glad to see you in the Aussie market too!

there should be plenty available via the 10 Club printing press.recycler wrote:Please NO LOTTERY - Give this F5'er a chance!!!

naw, the birds are just happy listening to the melodic tones of Mr. Vedder...upseeker wrote:Damn that is nice. I have to renew my 10 Club and/or pray for a variant? And, yes the birds are ON drugs, hence the slits for eyes.![]()
I predict S/N only from Marq... PJ artists didn't do variants last tour. Phish artists didn't do variants, and Marq didn't do variants for his Phish posters, so that's my prediction, but one would likely be really nice!!!

Whats not to like about this. The trees are great. Pretty sure thats an ancient baobob those Kookaburra are chillaxin' in and an acacia tree shading the outstretched arms of Vedder. Anyone ever been to OZ, NZL or RSA can appreciate seeing those things referenced in this...
I might have added some swelling billabong break in there somewhere....otherwise,
seems to have all the "elements" to me: soil water fire and wind (clouds up top)
Many of the baobob I've observed in Africa are often named after explorers. They don't exactly grow overnight.
