1160!

all things considered (polarizing image, computer-less/summertime, enrapture & special edition drops right before it) seems pretty good to me. it also means we'll be able to get everything shipped a lot faster than last year which is a big relief to me personally. :P

Man, this may be the first time we didnt run a contest for the print count. I was pretty darn close with my guess. 1160-1124 = 36 off.

So stoked to know I have one coming. Thx Audrey and Leah!

Yeah fluff, you were pretty close. I'm surprised. Was expecting more for sure.

yeah, from the parts of the thread I read, everyone was guessing 1600-2000. i just had a feeling. Summer is the slowest season for the art world in general. I think if this sale was in Nov-Feb, it would have been over 2000.

Well played fluff.
Can't wait to see mine, although I wish it would come framed to join Carry On on the wall, not Two Sisters in the portfolio.

It must be winter in the place where 100,000 was guessed. But based on the comments that that person has left it sounds like it's winter all the time. :D
Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

Really?

I wasn't guessing 100,000 would be ordered. I was merely trying to argue the fact that these would be limited irregardless of the total run. I'm happy I have mine ordered and happy my reading comprehension is at least average.

Sorry Darth. wasn't referring to you. Used the wrong number as a reference.

I hope they start shipping and giving the low #'s to the people who ordered right away. I made my purchase right at midnight. Hoping for the best!

I am hoping this is the case. Could someone from the AK camp confirm or deny this?

the prints get out of order when they're stacked and restacked (signed, sleeved, packed) plus the addresses get sorted so that we're mailing the furthest away first (start with int'l then east coast then west coast) so that everyone is getting their print at approximately the same time. that's not to say we ship the low numbers to int'l customers, but everything becomes quite random when we ship.

That's unfortunate. I set my alarm for 3 am ET so that I could be one of the first to order a print in hopes of getting a low number.

I ordered at midnight as well but the print number doesn't really matter to me. Though I wouldn't mind if my framed version was 1/150 :P
