Rather harsh man. If anything Dan should stop mailing it in each month and come up with some fresh ideas himself.

Also, the artist frequents these boards regularly, is currently running an awesome giveaway, and offers insight into his design choices. So if you're going to criticize, at least be constructive.

Genre is the term for any category of literature as well as various other forms of art or culture, e.g., music, based on some loose set of stylistic criteria.

I find it exciting to be living in a time where there are a group of very talented artists out there that focus their muse on the outdoors: forests, night scenes, old houses, deserted streets and telephone poles, etc. McCarthy, Danger, Punchgut, Babrant, Foresman and Richard are few that come to mind. Has anyone coined a term for this specific genre yet?

I hope you're kidding. This looks nothing like Night Air except for maybe a canoe. Blatant rip off? I think not.

these will be on sale in early 2011 and to me, this looks nothing like a Dan McCarthy. far more detail and landscape paintings/prints have been around long before Mr. McCarthy began working as an artist.

This looks cool. I dug the mountain bike print, but his last two prints were too busy for me. This I'm liking...
