This one will be available for sale on our web site at http://www.cinemaoverdrive.net/merch starting this weekend, but if you want to make sure to reserve your copy drop me an email at cinemarat@earthlink.net and I'll be happy to accommodate you. Thanks!
And for even more entertainment, here it is! Check out this link to view the original "Siskel and Ebert" segment about this film, where they absolutely RAIL on it! This is definitely one of the more memorable Siskel & Ebert segments from my childhood

Supposedly Robert Rodriguez can perform the grandpa speech from this film perfectly on request.
For the full effect start at the 5:00 minute mark.

You can rent it if you want, but it really needs to be seen in a theatre for maximum enjoyment.

Wow, that's terrific! And Rob is right- you really do need to see this one theatrically with an audience to get the full impact of the audacity
Refusing to let Siskel and Ebert's complete drubbing of their film truly bury it, here's a terrific segment from 1985 with the producer discussing the Springtime re-release.

And what's the best part of all of this? The announcement that the film will be returning to North Carolina first!

This is true -- he did it at a Tarantino film festival and it was spot-on perfect! (Sure would make a great extra on a dvd!)RobJones wrote:Supposedly Robert Rodriguez can perform the grandpa speech from this film perfectly on request.
The show went great, and the poster went over very well also! After starting with right around 60 prints (inc. proofs) we're down to our final 10 left. These things look great in person, and if you'd like to pick one up just email me at cinemarat@earthlink.net or visit us online at http://www.cinemaoverdrive.net/merch. Thanks!
