This is a nice print and certainly is a great image to promote Wide Open Walls,, i reckon if you go to Gambia you might see a few of these scattered here and there. This would go well along side Raven Haired.( But i reckon everything looks great next to Raven Haired) I wonder if Eelus will be able to get it out before Xmas? I would of thought icarus would be next up...and before we know it its new year :ziggi:

this is my favorite image from WOW. i hope it comes drops before xmas so i can get myself a truly great gift. is the green and white on her face symbolic of something or some sort of traditional gambian culture reference? i like the owl in there too. raven haired meets nesting meets africa.

The only adult in that video is a black guy hanging out with the whitest 12 year olds on the planet.

This image will be available as a print edition in the new year and as a set of original paintings hopefully within the month
a pertinent bit of info from E himself from some recent correspondence.
for what it's worth, he has also been looking into donating some of the proceeds to the village he worked in, kubeneh, but has learned from others recently that sending large sums of money there, it often disappears. he is looking into ways to giving back admist the red tape and beaurocracy down there. i think it's great that he is trying to give back to their community even more. great artist and seems to be a top rate guy from all of my email correspondence with him. i may be a bit biased as he is one of my favorite current artists.

i am envious of any of you who can afford this as a set of paintings...i will (im)patiently wait for the print drop.

I think it is more likely that while in Gambia he got a few woman to make 130 necklaces out of seeds and dried nut pods :ziggi:

amazing beyond words and he does sound like a nice fellow. any indication that proceeds from the print of this will be going to a charity?
