I think that C-3PO is a good candidate for metallic inks.

I think C3P0 is a good candidate for getting the hell beaten out of him in every movie!dylansdad wrote:I think that C-3PO is a good candidate for metallic inks.
ep1 - built from scraps
ep2 - has his head swapped with a battle droid

I think I'm counting about 10 colors in this one. And three cheers for another 24x36!!!

So far this has to be the only starwars poster from Mondo I can honestly say I would enjoy owning. While the bounty hunter posters are badass, thats too much of an investment in space. After seeing rhys cooper's AMAZING Gremlins print in person, I have total faith the metallics on this are going to be sick!
IT'S GONE!
I think this is one that I am particularly anxious to see up close and in person. Looks like a lot of detail in there.

This has been my least favorite in the series, not that I dislike the art work, the subject matter is just not for me... I always hated C3PO, what a square that cat is! R2D2 ftw. The R2D2 Motorola/Verizon Droid releases today coincidentally!

Rhys lives in australia, so it would be near impossible to ship all 350 prints to him to sign from D&L, and then have them shipped back to mondo. You can always try contacting the artist and see if they will be selling any of their artist proofs which are almost always signed.jsan20 wrote:This would be the first i would pick up as well. Looks good his work is awesome. Like all mondo wish they were signed. Usually the reason i hold off on them.
I actually got one of these today. First print I have ordered from mondo. Of all the starwars prints this has been my favorite, but I'm a huge fan of rhys' style. I almost didn't order it, but couldn't resist when I got the email from mondo. *edit* some asshat already has one listed on ebay and these haven't even been off sale for an hour.
If you hate c3po this should be your favorite, as hes getting destroyed!

jesus over 15 of these things on ebay at double their initial cost. Mondo should set up a sting to figure out who these flippers are and block any further sales to them.
