Personally I think it was a terrible decision to remove the dripping blood. It really takes away from the overall image.

personally I think it was a terrible decision to remake the movie in the first place. I wish this would have been for Let the Right One In, as the subtlety, and clever use of morse code would still make sense. Oh well congrats to those that snagged one.

I agree, I loved the original movie. But since I have yet to watch the remake I'm going to reserve judgement. That being said, I still grabbed one of these from today's drop since it's still such a great print.

I heard the remake is more sinister. If it is, I will support it. It would be closer to the book then.

I failed on ordering this...tried but, failed. I still haven't seen the movie, since my theater sucks! Loved the original so I'm guessing this will be fairly good.

The remake is surprisingly competent and retains just as much of the feel of the novel as the original film did. It even removes some of the sillier bits from the first film.
If this had been the only version of the movie to come out I would be singing it's praises from the rafters. As it stands though it's a slightly improved in some ways and slightly degraded in other ways carbon copy of a movie that truly did not need a remake.

Cool poster though :)

New image Let Me In 10 Moss - Final Version
This is the final version of the 1st edition print without the blood dripping out of the mouth.

Got mine today. Is the black ink supposed to look distressed / worn?

All the copies I saw at Mondo looked that way, and a few of Olly's prints have that same type of worn ink look.

She definitely knows what being a "girlfriend" means while Oskar might not - she is possibly (probably) hundreds of years old and knows more than most living people. The fact that she is immeasurably more mature than Oskar illustrates how she cannot be genuinely drawn to him and is just using his affection for her own (nefarious) purposes.
Exactly. Also, Eli is a castrated male. I think that adds another dimension into this story. Not negative at all, but just something interesting to keep in mind.
