Have a chance to see these guys on Thursday at the GOTV festival, and wanted to get some feedback on how they are live?

The hips aren't really my bag, but being from Chico, I've seen them grow from a scrappy jam band to a pretty darn solid "California soul" outfit. It's kinda country rock stuff. Pretty well done.

More telling, Sierra Nevada did a "hips helles" brew in collaboration with them this year. Too light for me (both the beer and the music) but that's a pretty big deal around here.

I'm in talks to do a poster for their 20th anniversary show too, time will tell!
