I was hoping for a Pollock to complement the ATL '99 July 4th poster, but this one by locals Methane Studios is right in line with the fireworks theme.
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

ouch. Is this Methane's 4th print of the tour? F'n Red Light. Thats 2-3 too many imo. Big time pass for me. From the jpg, I'm beyond disappointed. I'm hoping for something special tomorrow (even though it will most likely just be a different colorway of the same image). I'll reserve full judgement until I see this in person but right now I would have a problem paying $20 for it, even if it was xx/100, which it wnt be. Sour grapes here for the poster, anyone want some? Gives me all the more reason to enjoy the scene and show and to not have to worry about posters (just badges).

I'm hoping that Pollock is too busy working on the Telluride prints.

I honestly don't fully understand the Pollock obsession (beyond the flip factor). He hasn't made a GREAT Phish poster since 2003 (and one could reasonably argue since he departed from his two color hand pressed prints 10 years ago).
Too bad the masses were spoiled with a run of consistently great posters back in the day when not every show had a print made for it.
quality > quantity.

This is a decent gig poster.

Red light loves some methane

maybe they'll give methane the whole next phish tour since dmb is taking the year off.

I like the Blat Boom reference. Fitting for a 4th of July Phish poster.

I disagree, Pollocks alpine prints from last year were some of his best work IMO, right up there with the astron

I love this print. It reminds me of being a kid. I bet it would look great framed. The robot is the best part. :)

Great idea, could have been executed a bit better.

Pollock is more overrated than Warhol.
