I'm not a sticker guy, but I love the t-shirt.
... and let's say lots of poster buyers buy more than 1 of the "handbill"... it'll sell out in the first hour IMHO.

I applaud Emek's efforts with Haiti and now this oil disaster that nobody can possibly comprehend yet. We're obviously gonna need a little bit more than the proceeds from this sale to deal with the devastation that's likely coming, but hopefully the art and entertainment communities will step up big time for this over the next year or three. It's a great print!

I am donating 0 dollars to any type of clean up effort. BP's legal responsibility ends at 75 million. After the 75 million is spent they are responsible for 0 more dollars. At that point the federal government will take tax payer money (your donation) to finish the so called clean up. The same clean up happened in Valdez, AK, to this day the beaches are still poisoned with oil. I will buy a print when the regulations are changed and enforced and BP has spent every last dollar to clean up their mess. They had no problem jacking up gas prices and jacking up their profit margin. Throwing money at continuing problems is not going to solve our long term situation.

BP should buy all of these prints!

i kinda agree with cktbreaker. BP makes billions in profit each quarter and they can only give 75 million for cleanup.

FYI, these past 2 posts are 100% false, BP's responsibility for DAMAGES to those affected by the spill (i.e. fishers who can't fish) is capped at 75 million, additionally there is a $1 billion+ trust fund that all Gas co's have been paying into for years that was set up following the Exxon Valdez spill for damages >75 million.

BP is responsible for ALL costs associated with the clean up(i.e stopping spill and removing oil from the waters)

Additionally, they will face civil fines by the US Gov.

from epa.gov
§1004 The liability for tank vessels larger than 3,000 gross tons is increased to $1,200 per gross ton or $10 million, whichever is greater. Responsible parties at onshore facilities and deepwater ports are liable for up to $350 millon per spill; holders of leases or permits for offshore facilities, except deepwater ports, are liable for up to $75 million per spill, plus removal costs. The Federal government has the authority to adjust, by regulation, the $350 million liability limit established for onshore facilities.
