Damn, this a good poster.

Radiohead's own Zap comix cover.

John's got some serious talent here, there and everywhere.

I just marked this poster as having sold for $250. I work at the DKing-gallery and Dennis published this poster for John. He has 46 sales records for this poster ranging from $150 to $250 over the years. Furthermore, John sold his last copy for $225 over a year ago. Its listed on our site as $250 and we have people informing us that we should sell cheaper because EB says its never sold for more than $112.00.

EB is not necessarily accurate in terms of worth outside ebay. Its not even always accurate FOR ebay results. We sold this on ebay as long ago as 8/12/2006 for $200 item no 7628381410

Cheers,

David

Concerning the sales history chart, I think Brendan said it best earlier today in the Ethics Forum:
Yamar wrote:...The sales histories are that - histories of sales which we have had the chance to record. But they are by no means absolute - there are tons more sales (private, retail, eBay, aftermarket artist sales, galleries) that don't make it to the histories. There is no way to cover all those bases. We just all contribute to do the best we can...In the end, you (as a buyer or seller) have to figure what anything is worth to you.

Vendors are welcome to list items for sale here as well as completed transactions. Welcome to EB and thanks for the info. :)

Cool. I was in no way taking pot shots at EB itself. I love EB! I was just referring to the 3 emails and 2 phone enquiries on this poster alone in the last couple of weeks telling me I'm crazy for charging a certain price and I that I need to pay attention to EB sales results.

That just really ticks me off.

Thanks for the reply.

Tell them to go drymount themselves.
