I also just noticed it says TAKE on the man's hand and GIVE on the Apes hand.
if anyone live near vancouver bc we still have this poster in our shop (as well as the rhcp one). we don't sell online though, only local.
It's pretty awesome. One of the complaints I've had about MMM's posters is that the colors are sometimes kind of dull, and the inks don't always register really well, I'm guessing because of the amount of detail required. Anyway, this one is great! The colors are vibrant and the inks are a little heavier than on other stuff I have of his. Good stuff. i bought this poster at ameoba hollywood for $25. they might still have more, they also had the rhcp/mars volta poster MMM did for $25 as well.
nor I. (from MMM, I mean. Got one from philaarts.)

I just talked to my assistant and she said that they went out last week sometime. She had over 300 of them to put in tubes so it took a while. Hold tight people.

(Just a little constructive criticism) Example: the Mars Volta print you did last year literally jumped off the screen at me. The colors were super vibrant and I couldn't wait to see it. Then when I got it, they turned out to be earthier without as much pop as I was hoping they'd have. As for the registration, I guess I meant more the thickness of the inks on the paper than the images lining up. Don't take it the wrong way, Michael. I looooooooove your work (just framed up the Mars Volta '05 and early Decemberists) and will continue to collect it. Your imagery and complexity is unparalleled, and I think that is one reason I have the opinions I have. Screenprinting as a process, I would imagine, makes it tough to always translate the images in your head to paper. The two new prints (Tool and RHCP) are definitely a step in the right direction, and from what I can tell from the images online, most of your other work this year is the same. Keep up the good work.
