No idea how accurate this is (from http://eelus.proboards.com/index.cgi?ac ... 171&page=1 - 4th post)neshaus wrote:Is this some kind of reference to Banksy? It reminds me of that New Orleans print that he did. "Not Everything Is So Black And White" obviously has something to do with this image, but is it a veiled knock?
rattusamorus wrote:There are a few things which might be regarded as unfortunate, given that E is seemingly distancing himself from a street art niche which was never a comfortable pigeon hole for his art anyway. A couple of his compositions will remind anyone of Banksy’s NOLA, Eelus shifts uneasily at the similarity being pointed out but says that he had done the images before Banksy’s NOLA came out and had had reservations about including them in the show them for obvious reasons but had been persuaded.

eelus has a similar print to grafter's splash... it is called splasher.
grafter came into boards to clarify his image came out first (I felt stupid after I posted similarities between both prints; I also went by EBs dates on when prints had been released... grafter's was out first -- sorry again grafter!).

casey burns has a gigposter with the same idea as 'shat at' and 'wotulookinat'... burns poster dates from a while back (2003)... to be honest with you, i don't know who came out with the idea first... (i would say chewbacca - )
http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/15290
this print ('not everything is so...') is too similar to 'NOLA'... which again, who knows who had the idea first... (I won't get into dates, speculations anymore...)
would love for eelus to come to boards like grafter did...
cool

I prefer this image to NOLA

Eelus said the print will be available in about a month from now. Probably released via his website, not sure about that.. regarding his other prints (not so much colour) this will be about 150 gbp? 175?
Hope it helps! I will go for this one!

Ya pretty accurate. I cant wait for this print, hope it stays under the £200 mark!I'm hoping to get this print out in around a months time.
Not 100% sure yet but you're probably looking around £200. It will be roughly 20 colours and an edition of around 100-120.
Thanks.
E.
