Just received the 6th edition in the mail -- an eBay purchase. Already have both the 1st and 3rd editions, and by comparison, the 6th edition is VERY blue. For a variety of reasons, I prefer the 1st edition, although many have expressed the opinion that the 3rd on black paper is the best. The 1st, 3rd and 6th, because they are so different, should look outstanding together on the wall. I saw db23's on another thread, and decided to follow suit ...

Just picked up a 5th edition on green paper on ebay for a best offer of 50! I'm excited, this has been one of my favorite dangers for a while. :pint:

I know it's sacrilege on this site to praise open editions, but I'm really glad another edition of this was made available. It's a beautiful piece; can't wait to get it.

Open editions aren't really a problem, so long as everyone knows they're open. In that case the only complainer is someone who would have preferred flipping. And drymount that guy.

But, that's not what's up here. Daniel has always maintained that this print will always be available, in one form or another, because of what it means to him. If you go back through this thread I'm sure that story has been quoted, or you can watch "Just Like Being There" and see him say it all himself. I can't imagine anyone having any kind of issue with this.
