Let's not forget about Victor Fleming,Rev.Mike wrote:If you're gonna make that charge, keep in mind that Rob took this scene from Watchmen.mkuborn wrote:that is pretty darn derivative.
Always loved this image, should have snagged it from Rob when I had the chance.
It's in issue #10 or #11 when Nite Owl and Rorschach are approaching Ozymandius' fortress in Antarctica. And really it shouldn't even have to be said but the primary perspective for this print, as Samuraiwriter pointed out, is the Wizard of Oz. The reference to it is explicit in the title of the print. Rob makes visual allusions to a lot of things in his work. I don't think you can comfortably say that the Snow White poster is derivative of this work in particular.

Just saying that when I saw the Snow White image, this print was the 1st thing that popped into my mind.Rev.Mike wrote:It's in issue #10 or #11 when Nite Owl and Rorschach are approaching Ozymandius' fortress in Antarctica. Listen to Bends, people. He's trying to tell you something.thebends9 wrote:...and that time is nowmr_rugby wrote:This print is worth every penny you spend on a framing.
If you don't own it, you really should try and score one of these if in fact this is the last White Stripes poster.

Crap missed the Emerald City print, please anyone let me know if they'd like to sell theirs as I'm a huge White Stripes and Rob Jones fan and have loved this poster since I first saw it.
It's great, but it's a beast.HarryLime3 wrote:Crap missed the Emerald City print, please anyone let me know if they'd like to sell theirs as I'm a huge White Stripes and Rob Jones fan and have loved this poster since I first saw it.
