Agreed, the artist can do whatever he wants and I don't have a problem with that. It just struck me as odd that now there are two categories of the show edition - one with the doodle, one without. I just haven't noticed Jeff do that before and, at first, thought that maybe there was a typo in his store description where this was actually the Artist Edition rather than the show edition. I just jumped to that conclusion knowing that the Artist Editions #1-25 had not shown up for sale.

It's all good.

true... but isnt it kinda the same thing as having a poster where half are NOT signed by the artist (show ed.) and the ones sold on the website ARE signed, even though its from the same run.

....and bare with me, ive been drinking :D

Well...sort of - but not exactly. In this case the entire 575 show editions were already signed and numbered. All we're seeing here is the addition of the remarque/doodle for a $40 bump in price on a poster that's still one of the original show run. And, also, Jeff's store doesn't give us a clue about just exactly how many there are of these "remarqued" show editions.

Buy it if you like it. Does it matter that much if its an A/P or 1st Edition. Same image, same person signing it. Maybe HTHN has the other 25 A/Ps and don't want to sell them.
Same fudge, different drop.

ok.. i see where you're going with this... maybe

I honestly think the doodle has nothing to do with the price bump. i think they were sold originally at a certain price and then, months later, when the DCS store opened, Jeff had seen how good they were doing on ebay ($125+) and bumped the price up. ...maybe

Bingo. I think you hit the nail on the head gunter.

Hittin' the Note has poster number's 14-24 of this series for quick sale. They received them from ABB so that monies could be donated to charities. I grabbed one ASAP, but I have no idea if it's a regular show number piece or one of the A/P pieces yet.

This site? Looks like they already sold out, unless I'm missing something? Thanks for heads up!
