I believe the current bidding state of the auction to be no surprise to many of us.

sorry, I don't see it. first poster to rally this much fanfare that I absolutely can't wrap my eyes around to this extent. had I gone to the show and seen this poster I would have passed it by. no offense chuck.

wow that's the 1st person I heard that said they would P-A-S-S on this poster, kinda hard to believe, especially if you were at the shows IMO...

Probably just don't know about the high quality... yet.

I get the high quality part, but the girl seems way too young for my tastes. Honestly, I've always found this one a little creepy.

Yeah, like the Blind Faith album cover from back in the day... very similar in the "is it art or is it (soft) child porn" category, IMHO. I think it's art, for what that's worth, but I can where some peeps might pass on it for that reason in itself.

the girl on the blind faith album was clearly a child and she was clearly nude. there is no visible nudity on the Panic poster and it is subjective as to her age. ...i think there is a big difference.

i think she could easily be someone in her late 20's

I agree, big difference. Just my opinion, she looks very young.

I'm just sayin' that it came into my mind the first time I saw Chuck's poster. Maybe it's how I look at the British having far less of a cultural aversion to tits (& frontal nudity) than the US does, and maybe it applies to teens as well; I clearly recall thinking "nude teen" and thinking back to that album cover when I first saw the poster image... I also recall looking for the Blind Faith album in my basement to refresh my memory that I thought was similar... and saying something like "Hmm, Chuck's image is much more discreet... but a very similar thing". Again, we all see things in our own ways. Let's put it this way; if I coulda snagged this for the original $25, I woulda; hell, I would have probably paid $100, but not interested more than that, and it's more due to the image being a bit "creepy" (in Doug words)... It would go in my flat file, pulled periodically to take a look at the colors and background and that glorious hair, but not framed on my wall.
