Your post implies that you know that Dan is increasing the run to 1000. Is this the case or are you just speculating?

Absolutely not!!! Sorry for any confusion I may have caused with that post, I can see how that happened. I simply saw that this print was one of his scheduled monthly releases and that in here (EB) the edition was listed as 1,000. I have not contacted Dan to ask about the matter and was just a little surprised to see that this was going to be a run of 1,000. I can only presume that whomever edited the release information info has it as fact.

I just removed the 1,000 from the details until we can get a confirmation. i don't know where that came from either.

Sick print. I didn't know that many Mccarthy fans were turned off by dinos. It doesn't make much sense to me. A few who don't enjoy that theme all that much, maybe, but a good chunk of the posts state that those raptors in the low portion of the print are the reason they don't even want the print, I'm very surprised.
One of my absolute favorite from Mccarthy (only based on the jpeg). In love with the drawing and the color used. Perfect to go alongside The Rain Had a Sound which is also a favorite ever. If I go through Mccarthy's portfolio, it's exciting to find my favorites to be very recent... alongside some old classics of course..

according to a post by dan on his print club Facebook page: "the print runs will be the same for this year's sub 555".

First purchase, very nice piece I must say. I love the dinosaur prints (dinosaurs was a fascination of mine, and probably most people's, as a kid) but they aren't a dominate part of this one. Yes, it would still be a very lovely print without the raptors, but I think they're a nice touch.

^no doubt, I expect a sell out b4 too long^ very cool image and it will fit nicely in a 18x24" frame to boot :pint:
