I don't know who has seen it, but Lindsay has just posted a full disclosure of what he's doing and why with this staggered drop, including how many versions there will be, how many copies in each edition, etc.

I, for one, am completely comfortable with the situation now, FWIW.

Bravo, Lindsey!
He tried to take on a bootlegger and flippers both at once. I have a feeling this stated purpose will succeed and will make for an interesting case study.

Really not much money in the reprint in the larger scheme of things, so hopefully the negative impact of the method doesn't affect him too badly.

Still on the proverbial fence. I read the disclosure and respect his attempt to level the playing field @ 'official' supply vs. demand but what I don't get is the $90, $115 & $125 ($120) retail when they're all editions of 25. You can't tell me that a 10 x 26 of Honeycomb cover stock costs $35 (or $30 now) more than a sheet of Vellum cover stock. Just don't get that part of the experiment beyond the obvious $.

My friend asked for a refund after seeing the drop method but I am keeping mine.
After receiving the tube in the mail, opening it and realizing what I have, I am very happy. Also, my argument to my friend was even with the first editions and the whole slew of different reprints, the total number of this print can't be over 200.
That is fine by me for such a historically significant piece. It will hang with all my other Tool art. I'm happy.

Is only the regular a blacklight? Or are all of the versions?
