I LOVE THIS, it's better than the official... however what is that blue thing in the background? it looks like a retarded fish.
That Bridge is sweet, I don't know why more artist's don't incorporate more landmarks in their prints. Especially phan art, they would sell a whole lot more, instead of adding a trippy looking fish

Common sense, is not that common

Very nice poster if the show was in Pittsburgh.... Burgettstown does not have any bridges that look anything like this though.attackonthebass wrote:I LOVE THIS, it's better than the official... however what is that blue thing in the background? it looks like a retarded fish.

I am sure he is refering to Pittsburgh but really, Pittsburgh is a ways away from Burgettstown to have it on the poster.
I like landmark posters much like you, but this one does not make much sense.

moemoe6434,
I am the artist of this screenprint and my company is named JC Designs. - thank you for your observations.
The Warhol bridge that your comments are directed towards, is the only bridge in the United States that is named for a 2-Demensional artist - nobody can drymount with Warhol ... and since it is a mere 15 miles from Star Lake, it works well.
Thank you for your interest in my work.
In the meantime i'm going to go listen to a Bittersweet Motel to remind me what its all about!
Stay positive.
Go phish!
Sincerely,
Josh Carpenter

Josh,
Like I said, it is a cool poster and atleast there was thought into it using the Warhol bridge.
The bridge is a lot closer to 25 miles along the roads according to google earth, which is pretty far away and in another town/city which was the reason for my original comment.
But whatever, that is the reason for art... to create discussion and not everyone is going to agree.
Peace.
got this print in last week or so.
he has to send these another way then flat.
the corners were dinged up a bit and a nice crease going down the middle even though in giant letters it says DO NOT BEND.
i contacted phreshprints and told him about it and to consider other ways to send but no reply.

They really don't have another way to send them. They are printed o very thick paper stock which cannot be rolled, so they kinda have to go flat. I had very minor damage to the corner of one of the ones I got, but all of my others came fine and I ordered like 7 different ones.
