Sales of the prints are thru Bobby Namba, so I believe that's who did the print. David says on his blog there were 27, he gave away 8 so only 19 left @ $600 a pop plus s/h.

I will say this - it is F*CKING GORGEOUS! If I could get ONE print this year, it would be this one.

Longtime family friends the namba’s ,will be producing this bad boy, 30 years in the business with top secret custom silk screening techniques, look for totally mental prints in the future.
And why didn't they screen this one?

I think they did screen this. I was just assuming it would be a giclee.

This is not screenprinted. This is one bad ass print!! Going to be a pretty penny to get it framed.

The ultimate Choe! There's no doubt about it, epic. I'm incredibly envious of you guys who scored one. I'm also kinda glad I couldn't, because I'd have sold a kidney had I needed to to cover the CC bill and I have no idea how or where I'd frame and hang something that size  ! What a brain-damagingly stunning piece of work!!!!! I also think that $600 is a drymounting steal for this - that is a LOT of art for the money imho.

Definitely said in Choe's blog post that it was a giclee.

"This extremely limited print is of the legend jimi hendrix, in all his glory and inspired madness, there will only be 27 editions of this giclee’ print, at $600 plus shipping, all signed numbered, and left handed guitar drawn on some of the prints, I already gave 8 of them away to friends and family, so really there’s only 19 left."

I'd also thought about grabbing it if it was a BoNA screen...probably best for my art budget that it's not!
