i can say this is easily one of the best posters i own. I have the same "doodles" as this one and its gorgeous in person
Isnt the one that was sold in this auction a blue "Laser" cut edition of 10? (Emek The Dead on the Road '09 Blue Laser Cut Poster Edition of 10)
It's listed on EB as just a "blue" edition..I believe that should be changed to "Blue Laser Cut" as it is cut with the added reflective background.
Thanks
As per the auction description:
To mark the start of The Dead's 2009 tour, Emek designed a series of prints for The Dead. But, this one clearly stands out amongst them all. Here is a laser cut screen print entitled The Dead On the Road. This is the Blue Edition which was produced in a run of just 10. Super rare! The details in the laser cut skull may shock you. That's how precise the cuts are. The condition, as you'd expect, is Near Mint/Mint with no discernable flaws. The print measures 24" x 17". It has been SIGNED, NUMBERED & nicely DOODLED by Emek. Rare opportunity to acquire this special piece.

Dead.net still has some of these at $195 (black/red), so I decided to bite the bullet and get one to go with my Gorge Sunset and Spring Tour/Dark Star Foil posters.
Much to my surprise and delight, it arrived today, packaged better than any other poster/print I've ever had shipped to me by anyone: box within a box, corner protectors, ample tissue and padding, etc. It's in perfect condition, and a fairly low print number besides.
I know Dead.net has gotten a lot of heat around here for their poor packaging and shipping standards, and I've no doubt the criticism was certainly justified. But the way they handled this order blew me away. It was "just exactly perfect" in every way, and I want to pass on some props to them for a change. Keep it up!

That's b/c Emek packaged most of the black lazercuts himself and actually showed them how to ship them flat...great poster in person, love mine

Damn! Instant classic!
