The Tamarind rules are pretty much gospel. Nothing wrong with a 2nd Edition provided its easily identifiable as such, a 1st will always be a 1st. No-one really sticks to the rules in the gigposter/artprint world anyway, the number of PPs on Horkeys releases used to annoy me until I came to grips with the fact that we're dealing with $30 posters, not fine-art.xtro wrote:You mention "ART RULES" and ethics. Not sure what those art rules are? Are they written down somewhere and authenticated in some way?

Hey, I got the first bid in! (mostly just so I'd get a reminder email from ebay when it was about to end)

Actually, my first thought when seeing the auction was that maybe someone had some inside info about the reprint and was trying to unload. But then i noticed that he's had listed FS on here for a while now (at a pretty reasonable price too).kyle wrote:quick !

Personally I don't think the reprint is happening anytime soon, and probably not ever. No idea what happened but it certainly seems like dead arts and bieler aren't working together any more.

Sure it may have been available on here for a while...
But for something like this, eBay kind has more of the
"this may be your last chance ever to own this" feel to it.
My 2 cents.

Congrats if it was anyone on here that scored!

Yeah I know what you mean , I think knowing Aaron was never happy with this release has always put me off ever wanting one 1k badly , although that's not to say I haven't come extremely close to paying $900 just before my work situation changed ....
Fingers still firmly crossed for another release by the time my eye's are still good enough to appreciate it

I feel exactly the same way. I wish I could see one in person to know whether it's worth that much to me or not.Stingers wrote: I think knowing Aaron was never happy with this release has always put me off ever wanting one 1k badly ,

Same here. I want it, but not that bad if the quality is not up to par. Then again, Aaron's standards are pretty high so it might look fine to me. Never seen one in person either. Sadly, from what I've heard the chances of a re-release are pretty slim. I'm not getting my hopes up. Congrats to whoever snagged this one.
