Sold on ebay for 262 IIRC. Thought I could sneak in with a smaller bid. :toilet:

Wait, when? I've had a running ebay search for this print for more than five years. My top ISO. ugh.

edit: crap. I just found it.

That seller had some rarities up, and most of them were beat to fudge. This one appeared to be about the best of the bunch.

He was very reluctant to acknowledge the obvious damage that could be seen in the photos (primarily on the Ryan lithos), so I decided to bail. This one looked good for the most part, but if he's going to store stuff of this quality in a manner that ends up with this amount of damage (which he basically brushed off as nonexistent), how's he going to package for shipment...

Wanted so badly, but my fun money was all allocated for. A couple people bid more than me, hopefully there is a next time.

I've been (quietly) searching for this for years. One of the very few prints that still excite me.

I just ended up buying a bunch of the original Morris plates from the book. This is one print I don't think I'll ever find.

I bought a few copies of America's Other Audubon by Joy Kiser and published by Princeton Architectural Press. Daedalus Books has new, hardcover copies discounted to $15. The book features lithographs by Genevieve Jones who was inspired to create accurate renderings of the nests and eggs of Ohio birds after viewing original Audubon plates. They are as nice as the Francis Morris illustrations.
