This was up on Diana's Etsy shop June 10 under the title "Morris's Nest" as a copper etching print, run of 18 with only 13 for sale, at $100 each. I was fortunate to score one. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Well, I think we are pretty much drymounted looking for one on EB...
There is only ONE in a collection.

I actually asked Diana about these a couple years back at Flatstock,
and she said she was completely out of them. :(

Diane does some seriously beautiful work... her Califone '07 is one of my favorites and this looks gorgeous as well.

The Califone is amazing. One of my all-time favorite gig posters. Morris's Nest is my #1 ISO. I also asked Diana about it a couple of years ago, to no avail...

I, too, have long admired this print. Although I know the back story about why Diana created this particular work and its meaning for her, I guess I was pretty clueless about where the title came from. Now I know -- from A Natural History of the Nests and Eggs of British Birds by Reverend Francis Orpen Morris (1810-1893) from 1896. Morris wrote the text, Alexander Frank Lydon (1836-1917) was the illustrator and Benjamin Fawcett (1808-1893) printed the plates. A few of the original antique hand colored woodblock engravings from the book are currently available on ebay.
