If this does make it into the courts, it will certainly test the limits of the Fair Use Doctrine. Personally, I think Fairey's works crossed into art once all photographic traces became non existant minus an outline. I also wonder if Andy Warhol ever sought permission from Campbell's soup prior to creating his own renditions of the iconic soup maker's wares? But then again, those were less letigous times. :roll:

warhol was sued over flower pics , jeff koons was sued and lost over using a photo too even though he changed it

eBay 220357470482 Actually lists them as 14 x 18 and signed. Seller has two of these up for sale. Both reported - for what its worth. HOPE these aren't just the beginning of a landslide. :thumbdown:
